CSE Mentor Program
The College of Science and Engineering Mentor Program matches current sophomores, juniors, and seniors with local industry professionals who provide valuable career information, insights, and strategies. The CSE Mentor Program is one of the largest mentor programs at the University of Minnesota.

CSE Ambassadors Peer Mentor Program
The College of Science and Engineering Ambassadors Peer Mentor Program connects first-year CSE students with upper-division students to help in the transition from high school to college.
Peer mentors give advice on topics such as choosing classes, joining student groups, and getting to know campus. First-year CSE students receive information about the program, including how to sign up, during summer orientation.

Society of Women Engineers Big Sis/Little Sis Mentorship Program
The University of Minnesota student chapter of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) pairs freshmen/sophomore students with junior/senior students with similar majors in its Big Sis/Little Sis mentorship program.
Each semester, participants attend a "Get to Know Your Sis" event. After that, the Big Sis/Little Sis pairs meet regularly throughout the semester.

WISE-Medtronic Mentor Program
The WISE House is a Living Learning Community open to female first-year students interested in any area of science or engineering, and all residents in the WISE House participate in the WISE-Medtronic Mentor Program. Students are paired with professional engineers at Medtronic for this one-to-one mentorship program that runs throughout the academic year.
